From time to time we find people, which regardless of their age, really enthusiastic, not happy or optimistic and then, they spread the way that they understand certain things. Francesc Torralba says that enthusiasm cannot be sale or buy, but we have right to find something that can fill us of enthusiasm. We should do the effort to try it. Wise you up!
In order to arrange and develop any kind of project: personal, business, political, etc. dedication and effort are required. To have a clear idea that our just began project and its future chances, will motivate us to go forward as well. However, which is the real driving force that allows us to overcome any setback? Which driving force will help us to overcome any obstacle? No less than ENTHUSIASM.

Enthusiasm, according to the dictionary is “Soul exaltation”. It is a state of passion that helps us to see our projects in a satisfactory and stimulating way, that turns our ground into straight and flat, despite that is winding and full of stones. Achieve this state of mind and keep it most of the time, in spite of day after day disappointments, can be the most useless tool to guarantee our aims achievement or even to go to a long way.

Francesc Torralba, Ethos Chair Director in Ramón Llull University, writes in “Diari Avui” the editorial “Enthusiasm dose”

“It seems that our days breathe more nostalgia than enthusiasm, more melancholy than hope. And nevertheless, without enthusiasm it is not possible to fulfil any single or group project. With enthusiasm is neither sure that goal will be achieved, but surely we will get more as we expected. Enthusiasm cannot be produced by a millionaire advertising campaign, cannot be passed on as knowledge. It is a state of mind that become spread, but not complies with any logical law. Teachers, we know it very well, our enthusiasm in a specific subject does not assure a minimum enthusiasm of a single student. In any case, our young people have the right to be enthusiastic; we should give them the chance to draw the arc and to take ambitious aims, to sett of their way, despite that most probably it would be full of brambles and stones.”

Anyway, we should not confuse enthusiasm with euphoria, which usually is a state of mind lacking in criticism spirit that shows as excessive happiness and a lot of noise.
Proper understand of enthusiasm is something deeper, internal, as the dictionary says is “Soul exaltation”.
